Federico Polloni

Federico Polloni (1991), a native of the Asolo hills, graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice with professors Aldo Grazzi and Carlo di Raco. He lives and works in Venice. He has participated in numerous national and international competitions and exhibited in various cities, including New York, London, Bergen, Milan, Gothenburg and Ljubljana. His artistic practice is characterized by a constantly evolving research, rich in pictorial experimentation. Starting from existential questions, elaborated in forms drawn from the common imagination, he invokes a mystical symbolism. Her works present her personal research with possibilities for subjective interpretations, triggered by imaginations that recall the world of dreams. They seek to shape a primordial imagination closely linked to the natural and artificial worlds. In his continuous search for an objective sisthesis and intrinsic truth, he juxtaposes personal experience with the study of historical figures, displaying energetic pictorial solutions poised between the abstract and the figurative. Starting from existential questions, elaborated in forms drawn from the common imagination, he invokes a mystical symbolism. His works present his personal quest with possibilities for subjective interpretation, triggered by imaginings that recall the world of dreams. They attempt to shape a primordial imagination closely linked to both the natural and dream worlds.
