The Power 100 – the Most Influential People in the Artworld in 2022
The Power 100 - the most influential people in the artworld in 2022 has been published by the English magazine ArtReview. At the top ruangrupa, Jakarta-based artist collective and Artistic Directors of Documenta 15 and Cecilia Alemani, Artistic Director of the 59th Venice Biennale.
At the third positions Unions, Activist Movement - Collective action among artists and museum workers, followed by the artist Hyto Steyerl (4), the poet Fred Moten (5) for having inspired an entire generation of artists and the photographer Wolfgang Tillmans (6), the Golden Lion recipient at this year’s Venice Biennale Simone Leigh (7), Nan Goldin (8), the galleriest David Zwirner (9) and the Philanthropist Darren Walker (10).
