Vija Celmins at Fondation Beyeler
Following the major retrospective at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 2019, the work of Vija Celmins is now on view at the Fondation Beyeler in Basel in a solo exhibition, from June 15 to September 21. This is likely one of the most extensive exhibitions ever dedicated to the Latvian-born American artist by a European museum—an artist recognized as a singular voice in the landscape of contemporary art.
